Well things are certainly getting busier at Faraway as we head into the summer season.  Work continues apace on the new warm-up arena, we have a new livery settling in nicely and everyone is practising like mad for tomorrow night's dressage (or should that be stressage?)  There have been a few new faces at Faraway recently so this would seem like the perfect time to officially welcome Helen, Nikki, Jen, Jen (2), Claire (&Freya!) and Fiona into the Faraway Fold.  (hope I haven't forgotten anyone!)  All lovely girls and lovely horses - looking forward to some more sociable hacking now the weather is better. So, better go and learn the tests for tomorrow, stay tuned fofs x  Sunday 17th saw the start of Faraway's summer season with a successful dressage competition.  Good scores were posted and everyone enjoyed the glorious sunshine which was really welcome after a long winter.  Thursday 21st April sees the summer dressage league start, which will run fortnightly, with intervening Thursdays being dedicated to show jumping. April 30th is the date for the Working Hunter Introductory show, with classes from minimus to open for both ponies and horses.  We are holding a tack sale on the day as well - spaces are only £3 so get raiding out all your old gear.
